How V.S.I. Crusher Operates :

The through put capacity is the function of the power given to the rotating part. It means the capacity is directly proportional to the hp of the driving motor. More power means more through put of the material. Crushing is done in closed circuit, over size material from Vibrating screen is re-fed in the V.S.I. The limitation of feeding is due to size of the rotor ports. The most economical crushing ratio is 1:5 to 1:8. It means for the requirement of crushed product below 3 mm the feed size should be restricted to 25 mm maximum.

The size of the Crushed product can be controlled by the power imparted to the particle. Higher the velocity means more power is imparted to the particle, so more fine crushing can be achieved.
